The Orthotic Fitter Course is an entry-level orthotics program. This two-day course provides attendees with a basic knowledge of orthotic fitting and prepares them for obtaining an orthotic fitter certification. Completion of an approved course is one of the requirements before an individual is eligible to sit for the Orthotic Fitter Certification Examination. The program is comprised of two components: a 16-hour web-based/Power-Point self-study component and a two-day, 16-hour, live classroom/hands-on instruction component.
